Refunds and cancelling
Version 2026-12-08-draft
Draft: for the owner's review (and a solicitor's) before launch. Anything in [square brackets] is still to be filled in.
The short version
- Cancel any time in Settings → Plan, online, in a few clicks. No phone calls.
- After cancelling you keep full access until the end of the period you paid for.
- If you're a consumer, you can cancel within 14 days of your first payment and get your money back, less a fair amount for the days you used.
- We never charge a cancellation fee.
Cancelling your plan
Go to Settings → Plan and press Cancel my plan. Stripe, our payment provider, confirms it on screen and by email. You won't be charged again, and you keep full access until the end of the month (or year) you have already paid for. If you change your mind before then, press Keep my plan and nothing changes.
During a free trial, cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged anything.
Your 14-day right to cancel (consumers)
If you are buying as a consumer (for yourself, not for a business), UK law gives you 14 days to change your mind. The 14 days start on the day your paid subscription starts (if you had a free trial, the day of your first payment).
Because LeadVault is a digital service you use straight away, we ask you before paying to confirm that you want your access to start immediately. If you then cancel within the 14 days, we refund what you paid, less an amount for the days you had the service (worked out day by day from the price of your plan). If you used a free trial first, you have already had the chance to try LeadVault without paying.
Anything we supply as digital content that you download and keep (for example an export file) is supplied straight away with your agreement, and once it has been supplied the 14-day right to cancel no longer applies to that item.
To use this right, cancel in Settings → Plan and email us at [Contact email] within the 14 days saying you want a refund (you can use the model cancellation form below, but you don't have to). We refund you within 14 days of hearing from you, to the card you paid with.
Model cancellation form
To [Company name], [Registered address], [Contact email]:
I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the supply of the following service: LeadVault subscription.
Ordered on / first paid on: [date]
Name: [your name]
Email address used for LeadVault: [your email]
Date: [date]
Other refunds
Outside the 14 days, payments already made aren't refundable, except where the law says they must be, or where we have charged you by mistake, or ended your plan for a reason that isn't your fault (then we refund the time you paid for and didn't get). If something has gone wrong, contact us and we'll put it right.
Business customers
If you are buying for a business, the 14-day right to cancel doesn't apply, but you can still cancel online at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, see our terms: Stripe tries again, we tell you, and you keep full access for a few days while you update your card.
